The 5 summit via ferrata with a view over Lake Achensee is very well secured and offers both scenic attractions and technical challenges. The starting point is the valley town of Maurach and from here the trail leads to 5 summits, meaning 5 different via ferratas. If you are in good physical condition, you can complete the varied tour within a day.
If you prefer a more leisurely approach, you can also tackle several smaller stages. The following via ferratas are on the circular tour: Haidachstellwand, Rosskopf, Seekarlspitze, Spieljoch and Hochiss. Experienced climbers appreciate the Achensee 5 summit round tour above all due to the fact that it can be organized individually. If your condition or the weather is not right, you can return to the mountain station at any time without any complications.
