Vacation in Ladis

At the foot of the Samnaun group, above the Upper Inn Valley, the idyllic Ladis is settled. Let yourself be transported back to the good old days by the centuries-old farmhouses with their facade paintings, the outdoor stairs, and the intricately carved gables. And also pay attention to the characteristic fountain. You won't find something like this everywhere.

Honey, I shrunk the tourists

Only in Ladis is there the so-called Wodepark with the Wodeturm. - Wodewhat? To explain: Wode was a giant who once lived here. One day he fought with a magician, fell into the lake, and sank there. Today, a theme park around the pond of Neuegg commemorates the legendary figure. Among giant mushrooms and oversized insects, visitors feel like shrunken dwarfs. However, a fairytale pavilion, a snack garden, barbecue areas, and sun loungers ensure that everyone feels comfortable here. The Wodeturm offers a magnificent panoramic view at an altitude of over 1,400 meters around the Kaunertal and the Inn Valley.

Another attraction is the "Tiroler Sauerbrunn" - and has been for several centuries. According to legend, the well with naturally carbonated water was discovered by a farmer who always wondered why his goats especially liked to drink from this one spring. Soon, the healing water had spread its reputation far beyond the country's borders. Princes and dukes had the water bottled and brought to their courts. Eventually, it was even exported to Russia by cable car and trucks.

Fishing in the idyllic castle pond

You'll also get wet when fishing in Ladis. - Carp, trout, and tench frolic in the Lader Schlossweiher. By the way, you can get the fishing permit at the municipal office or at the Ladis information office. High up on a slate rock on the northeastern outskirts, the Laudegg castle ruins loom. Although it is privately owned, it can be visited weekly during the summer months. The sports opportunities are so diverse that everyone gets their money's worth. Hiking, biking, Nordic walking, horseback riding, tennis, beach volleyball, and even tandem jumping are available.

When the snow comes

But even in winter, Ladis shows its active side: the Lader Schlossweiher invites you to ice skate and play ice stock sport. And overall, Ladis shares one of the most beautiful ski regions in Tyrol with its neighboring villages Serfaus and Fiss - the spacious Ski Dimension Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. Here you can really do everything. Skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, and tobogganing, of course. And all this on 212 kilometers of slopes. But even exotic equipment like snow bikes or the Snowfox - a kind of group carver on which you sit and race down the slope - are a lot of fun. In addition, there are other special attractions such as the giant swing "Skyswing", the "Fisser Flieger" - a hang glider on ropes - and the "Serfauser Sauser", which, tied to a rope, lets you sweep over the heads of others at a speed of up to 65 kilometers per hour. Hardly anywhere else will you have so much fun in one place.
