Vacation in Serfaus

Above the Upper Inntal at the foot of the Samnaun group, the holiday region of Serfaus offers a successful change from everyday life. Situated on a terrace of the Inntal, it is easy to give in to relaxation here.

One special feature of Serfaus is the Dorfbahn - the highest-lying air-cushion cable car in the world, which runs like a subway under the Serfauser Dorfstraße. It was built to reduce traffic in the village. Now vacationers can comfortably park their cars in a parking lot at the beginning of the village and take the train to the valley station of the cable cars and ski lifts in the ski area. In the 1,280 meter long route operates in winter and summer, and near the end station, fascinating earth pyramids await curious explorers.

Serfaus has joined forces with its neighbors Fiss and Ladis to form the Ski Dimension Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis and can boast 70 ski lifts and 212 kilometers of slopes. In addition, there are 119 kilometers of groomed cross-country ski trails, 10 kilometers of toboggan runs, and 100 kilometers of cleared winter hiking trails. Two racing tracks and a speed track provide the thrill of speed. And for those who want more, they can pump their adrenaline even higher on the "Serfauser Sauser": suspended from a rope, you race at a height of up to 85 meters over the heads of others, reaching a top speed of 65 kilometers per hour. Equally adventurous is the "Skyswing": 22 meters high on a giant swing, 12 meters of free fall - only for the bravest. Both the Sauser and the Skyswing provide thrills in summer and winter.

Another winter specialty is the "Masner Express". In a spacious snowmobile, you can explore the winter landscape without skis. The tracked vehicle starts at the Lazid mountain station and makes its way through the white splendor. Particularly appealing is the morning tour to the Pezid, when the sun rises over the Tyrolean mountain massif in the early morning and you personally witness this natural spectacle at over 2,700 meters.

The summer program of hiking, cycling, and horseback riding can also offer additional activities. A visit to "Murmliwasser" offers an unforgettable experience, especially for children. The adventure playground by a mountain stream captivates with a Murmli rodeo, a walk-in marmot cave, and - as an animal highlight - a marmot enclosure with real marmots.

For those who want to reach new heights, a visit to the "X-Trees-Funzone" is a must. The forest rope park in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis offers climbing fun for the whole family. Secured with rope and helmet, you can climb through the treetops at a height of 14 meters. There are 10 different courses with obstacles such as a spider's web or the Indiana Jones bridge to overcome.

For a more classic experience, head to the climbing garden below Serfaus. Idyllically located in the forest, 19 different routes offer the right conditions for everyone - from families to sport climbers.
