Huge selection from easy to difficult

For skiing, there are more than 130km of perfectly groomed slopes and 53 lift facilities available. Half of the descents are classified as 'easy', 45% as 'medium' and for the professional skiers there are 5% 'difficult' descents. The descent Vallon -> Corvara is the longest in the ski region with over 4km. The mentioned 'Dolomiti Superski Pass' is also valid for the neighboring ski areas 'Arraba/Marmolada' and 'Val Gardena'. With 450 lift facilities and 1,220 km of ski slopes in the Superski carousel, pure winter fun is guaranteed.

Good news for friends of snowboarding as well. Snowboarders are welcome guests and all slopes may also be used for snowboarding. The presence of additional services for snowboarders (e.g. halfpipe, etc.) cannot yet be confirmed by the editorial staff - let's wait and see what the new ski season will bring.

Even in the rare snow-poor winters, the ski operation runs smoothly. Almost 80% of all slopes can be supplied with sufficient artificial snow. Thus, the ski region Alta Badia was awarded twice as 'Top Ski Resort' during the winter season 2005/2006 at Skigebietstest.

Alta Badia is also an excellent starting point for the most beautiful ski tours in the Dolomites. The tours 'Sella Ronda', the 'Mountain Troops Ski Tour' and the tour to the Marmolada Glacier are just a small selection.
