Diverse slopes and modern lift facilities

The ski area has 15 ascent facilities, which take winter sports enthusiasts to the total of 65 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes of various difficulty levels. The technical connection between the two sub-areas Schöneben and Haideralm was realized for the winter season 2018/2019 by two modern 10-person gondola lifts, which makes the skiing experience even more varied.

Unique experiences

In addition to classic skiing and snowboarding, the region around Lake Reschen offers numerous other winter activities such as ice skating, kiting, ice sailing, and cross-country skiing. A special highlight is the Hell Valley descent, which delights with its wide slope and the breathtaking view of Lake Reschen and the legendary sunken church tower.

Culinary delights and cabin magic

Various huts and restaurants ensure the physical well-being, offering regional delicacies and sunny terraces for lingering. The mountain restaurant Haideralm is particularly noteworthy as it is easily accessible directly from the village center of St. Valentin and offers culinary delights as well as accommodation.

Family friendliness and snow fun

The ski area places great emphasis on family friendliness. Special children's areas and ski schools ensure that even the youngest guests can be safe on the slopes. The Haideralm is also a popular starting point for extreme sports enthusiasts and paragliders.

Sustainability and innovation

In the 2018/2019 season, the self-service restaurant in the ski area was expanded and modernized, making the gastronomic offer even more attractive. In addition, great importance is placed on cleanliness and hygiene, for which the ski area has already been awarded. In summary, the Schöneben-Haideralm ski area offers a comprehensive winter sports experience for young and old, beginners and professionals. With its impressive natural landscape, modern infrastructure, and family-friendly offers, it is an ideal destination for an unforgettable ski holiday in South Tyrol.
