In the high valley of Wildschönau, things are tranquil and cozy. The available network of cross-country ski trails covers no more than 55 kilometers of slopes, and therefore the region is especially appreciated by beginners and families.

The trails can be used and traveled free of charge from December to the end of March. Those who love the peace and solitude of nature will also get their money's worth here. Because cross-country skiers mostly only encounter a shy deer or a nimble snow hare on their tour. Tip: an award-winning cheese is produced at the Schönangeralm, which winter sports enthusiasts should definitely taste. The cozy mountain inn is ideal for a stop and a little breather.
