The via ferrata above the roofs of the Tyrolean capital consists of 2 stages, which, depending on condition, can also be divided into 2 day tours.
The first route leads from the Hafelekar mountain station (2,269m) to the starting point of the via ferrata. Here begins the ascent on an almost vertical wall. Over the Seegruben peak (2,350m) and a suspension bridge, it continues on ridges, which are secured at first but are only unsecured towards the end of the stage. The end point of the first stage is the Lange Sattel (2,258m).
With a walking time of 1.5 hours, the second section continues steeply upwards to the western saddle peak (2,339m). The descent is via the Frau-Hitt-Saddle (2,230m).
