Schloss Biedenegg - Striking architectural monument
Perched on a moderately rising slope in Tyrolean Fließ, almost unprotected, is Biedenegg Castle, where you can also stay overnight.
The Biedenegg Castle dates back to the 11th century and can be found in the Tyrolean Upper Inn Valley in the municipality of Fließ. The complex was first mentioned in a document in the year 1339 and is relatively unprotected and accessible. Extremely striking are the swallowtail battlements on the keep, which are a total of 1.5 meters high. In 1546, the castle was acquired by Hans Trautson, the complex was rebuilt and has not significantly changed its appearance to this day.
Today it is possible to spend your holiday in the castle, with space for a total of 28 people. The complex has seven apartments and a holiday home, which is ideal for families or larger groups. The apartments vary in size, offering space for two to six people.
