Basically, the track can be divided into three sections. The first of them is the lower part. It runs from the parking lot of the 8-seater gondola lift to the Panorama Restaurant Stiglreith. Those who dislike gondolas can make the journey on foot in about 90 minutes. This part of the descent has sections that allow for high speed, but can also be quite icy, depending on the weather, as one approaches the valley.
The middle part of the track extends to the mid-station, where the Restaurant Sulzstich awaits with warm, invigorating food. This part is also illuminated in the evening. The walking time for those who refuse the lift is 45 minutes.
Finally, we come to the upper and last part. Here the toboggan run begins at the Rosskogelhütte. In some narrow curves it also crosses the ski slope. However, no lighting is installed here.
The walking time for pedestrians comes to another 45 minutes for this part of the track.
The Tyrolean Natural Toboggan Run Quality Seal promises you perfect winter fun with high safety - ensured by wooden barriers and safety nets at the edge of the slope. A modern snowmaking system allows tobogganing fun until the end of March. A toboggan rental at the Stiglreith mountain station also caters to those who have arrived without their own winter sports equipment.
In addition to regular operation, you are also offered the possibility of night tobogganing. Every Tuesday and Friday the lift is in operation from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The track itself is illuminated until 12:00 am on the corresponding sections with floodlights.
