Agility, endurance, coordination, sense of balance, but also overcoming oneself - all this can be learned and trained in a high ropes course. Here you can also test your own climbing talent before heading to the rock. And of course, fun and excitement are not neglected.
Adventure Park Dobbiaco
In the adventure park Toblach, the largest in the Puster Valley, there are a total of ten courses to choose from, seven of which are also suitable for children. 100 elements in all levels of difficulty from easy to very difficult make each course a special experience. The platforms are mounted in the spruces and larches, and the distances between them must be overcome with the help of ropes, nets, beams, tree trunks, zip lines, and suspension bridges, which vary from 3 to 60 meters. Also, 16 Flying Fox zip lines provide action and release adrenaline.
Primarily, the adventure park Toblach is aimed at families, the three simplest courses are at heights of 1.5 to 4 meters and can be managed by beginners and children without any problems. On the "violet" course, you move up to 5 m above the ground, and on the "red" course, it becomes quite challenging with heights of 5 to 6 meters. For the truly fearless climbing enthusiasts, there is also a black course - recently also in a "soft" and "hard" variant. Here, at heights of up to 15 meters, some extremely difficult obstacles await, which want to be mastered with a lot of courage and skill.
Safety is a priority
With all the fun and thrill, safety always has the highest priority. All facilities are naturally checked for statics and functionality and are regularly inspected.
Just like the adventure park in Kaltern, the one in Toblach is also a member of the ERCA, the European Ropes Course Association. This association of European ropes course constructors and professional trainers aims to establish uniform standards for safety, training, and materials throughout Europe. ERCA members stand for tested safety at the highest level.
A team of qualified trainers and supervisors explains the safety devices and the handling of the equipment. On two short test courses, the rope and safety techniques can be learned and practiced. This way, even a spectacular high ropes course becomes a carefree holiday pleasure.
