My first tandem flight in the Dolomites - What an experience!

Now I am standing at the Mont Seura take-off site at the foot of the Langkofel in the Dolomites with my flight instructor Kilian, ready for my first tandem flight. I am totally excited and full of anticipation and very tense…
My pilot calmly explains the procedure for takeoff and reassures me. Now I wish for nothing else but to finally take off.
A light breeze in my face, a gentle alpine meadow as a takeoff site...
One, two, three and we start running… I become lighter and after a few steps we take off:
it's so easy, we float, glide and fly free like the birds - it's wonderful!
I never thought that takeoff would be so easy.

I feel light and relaxed and enjoy the wonderful panorama around me.
The Dolomites are within reach, the alpine meadows, meadows and forests so magnificent from this perspective.
I am totally relaxed and can enjoy the flight to the fullest.

This feeling of weightlessness, calm and relaxed gliding is indescribable - you just have to experience it to understand...
We enjoy the panorama from this perspective, I can completely switch off from the stressful everyday life and feel like a new person in the air.

We slowly glide to Monte Pana. Now the landing is approaching. My flight instructor reminds me in simple words what I should do.
In the huge landing meadow at Monte Pana we touch down gently and safely…
it's much easier than I thought.

I am still totally in a trance from the flying experience and enjoy the feeling. Endorphins and adrenaline keep me in this state for a long time. Flying is simply a dream. I am totally thrilled!
