This is evidenced by a very special relic: the Latscher Figurenmenhir was found in 1992 during renovation work in a church. Its origin can be dated back to 3300 - 2200 BC. Menhirs are oversized stone monuments, on the surface of which engravings or elaborate drawings can still be seen today. The Latscher Figurenmenhir was made of local marble and is 107cm high, 77cm wide, and 12cm thick. It is assumed that such figure menhirs had a mystical meaning at that time; the stone itself contains many magical symbols and figures. Hobby archaeologists and those interested in culture can visit the Latscher Figurenmenhir as part of guided tours.

For those who want to search for traces of past times on their own, they should take walks and hikes near old paths. Here, with a little luck, you can find so-called cup stones. These depressions were carved into rock outcrops or other stones in the past and are still visible today. However, it is not known what these cup stones were used for.
