Sightseeing and relaxation

For those who want to enjoy not only nature but also culture, Chienes / Kiens is the right place, as the municipality offers its visitors various sights: such as the Schöneck Castle. It is said that the knight and minstrel Oswald von Wolkenstein was born here. The parish is also absolutely worth seeing - it is one of the oldest in the Puster Valley. For those who prefer to relax, a trip to Lake Issing is recommended. From June to September, tourists enjoy themselves in the cool water here. You can also relax in one of the quaint mountain huts in the Puster Valley, where you will be spoiled with regional delicacies - although it requires a little hike.
