The Valley of BiathlonAnterselva / Antholz
The Antholz Valley is a side valley of the Puster Valley and is located in the east of South Tyrol. The municipality of Rasen-Antholz comprises a total of six villages on an area of 120 km² with around 2,500 inhabitants.
At the end of the valley lies the Antholzer Lake. The Antholz Valley offers something special at any time of the year: in winter, vacationers find deep snow over wide mountains, in spring and summer the meadows bloom and turn green, in winter the colorful forest beckons. In such a beautiful area, there is a vacation for every taste and budget.

Accommodations of all kinds are available: a beautiful hotel, guesthouse or a nice holiday apartment. For the special connoisseurs, a wellness hotel is certainly available. In summer, the area is especially suitable for hiking and mountain biking. For experienced cyclists, the 100 km long Klammlrunde is recommended.
For the little ones, hiking on the adventure trail at the lake is ideal. In winter, the Antholz Valley offers everything for a ski vacation. The area is a mecca for biathlon and cross-country skiing. For cross-country skiing, there are 60 km of groomed trails that can be used in classic and skating style. At the Antholzer See, something special awaits biathlon enthusiasts. A large biathlon stadium, where regular World Cup competitions and World Championships are held, is available.
For downhill skiing on a ski vacation, the nearby ski mountain Kronplatz with 31 lifts is available. For children and beginners, there is the Riepenlift in Antholz Mittertal. As an alternative, there are toboggan runs, snowshoeing tours, and relaxing winter hiking trails for the quiet moments of the vacation.
