San Martino in Badia / St. Martin in Thurn

San Martino in Badia / St. Martin in Thurn is a quiet spot in the Gadertal. The 1700-inhabitant community is surrounded by the beautiful Dolomites and invites you to extensive hikes and walks through the landscape. For cozy people, for example, a walk through the Mühlental or the Puez-Geisler Nature Park is suitable - more active people can dare to go climbing on the Peitlerkofel. No matter which route you choose - the view is always unique. A walk through the "Viles", the oldest settlement type of Alta Badia, is recommended. This has remained true to the original and is definitely worth a visit.

High up, surrounded by a breathtaking mountain panorama, different rules apply than down in the valley. The weather turns faster, a planned tour sometimes requires more effort than expected, and a small misstep can sometimes necessitate an early return.
