Summer vacation

In the warm season, the holiday village is the perfect starting point for hikes or mountain bike tours through the surrounding mountain world. Guided tours and evening lantern walks are offered on site. The hut taxi safely takes guests to their destination. For experienced mountaineers, there is the Ötztal Trek. This leads in 22 stages on 15 different routes over the surrounding peaks and cols to the rear Ötztal. Along the way, you can spend the night in mountain huts. In addition, there is the opportunity for canyoning, rafting, kayaking and canoeing, climbing, paragliding, and much more. Those looking for cooling off and water fun are in the right place at the adventure pool in Oetz. Located at the edge of the forest, the facility offers a large sunbathing lawn and a good opportunity to relax and splash around to your heart's content. A special attraction for those seeking relaxation is the Piburger See nature reserve. Here, guests can swim, fish, and let their soul dangle.

Sights

The historic center of Oetz, which exudes the flair of Tyrolean country life, is worth seeing. In the surrounding area, there are also a number of listed buildings that are popular with culture enthusiasts. These include the parish church of St. Georg and Nikolaus, the Gasthaus Zum Stern with its historical facade paintings, the Alte Blasiuskapelle in Piburg, the wayside chapel in Schlatt, and much more. In the tower museum, you can learn interesting facts about the structural changes and the development of living conditions from the Middle Ages to the present. The tower of the building itself is worth seeing. It stands out in the townscape and is one of the most valuable cultural assets of the Ötztal. In the museum, the landscape paintings and works of regional artists are particularly worth a closer look. In addition, special exhibitions on changing topics are regularly shown.
