Winter vacation
The small but fine ski area in Vent offers 13 kilometers of slopes, 2.5 kilometers of cross-country ski trails, and 15 kilometers of winter hiking trails. Here, guests can relax and indulge in their favorite sport away from the hustle and bustle of the large ski centers in the Ötztal in a pleasant atmosphere. Nevertheless, the other ski areas in the Ötztal can be easily and conveniently reached with the free ski buses. Beginners and advanced skiers of all ages and skill levels are professionally supervised in the local ski school. Suitable equipment can be rented at the ski rental. Alternatively to a day of skiing, you can enjoy tobogganing or a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride in Vent.
Summer vacation
In summer, those seeking relaxation and nature lovers will find wonderful hiking routes in Vent. The double chairlift to the Wildspitze is also in operation in summer and conveniently takes guests up to the optimal starting point for tours to the Wilden Man, the Urkundholm, the Wildspitze, or the Breslauer Hütte. The hiking buses ensure that guests reach their destination safely. Experienced mountaineers can hike the Ötztal Trek in 22 stages from hut to hut to Oetz in the front Ötztal. Vent is also located on the Via Alpina, a long-distance hiking trail that crosses the Alps, leading from Trieste through Slovenia, Italy, Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, and France to Monaco. From Vent, you can reach the Tiefenbachferner or Zwieselstein along the Panoramasteig on the Via Alpina. The other stage leads via the Hauslabjoch, the site where the glacier mummy "Ötzi" was found, to the Similaunhütte.

The baroque St. James Church with its Marian altar and the Marian figure created by the Tyrolean artist Andreas Kölle is definitely worth a visit for culture enthusiasts. During a walk through the Rofental, you can admire works of international artists in the open-air gallery. You can also cross the suspension bridge over the Rofner Gorge to the Rofner Höfe and visit the famous Haflinger horse breeding farm. Every August, the international sculptors' symposium ARTeVENT takes place, which also includes literary and musical events. The main focus is on the nature and culture of the Ötztal Alps. For those who want to go in search of Stone Age life, you can take a hike from Vent to the site of "Ötzi" at Hauslabjoch. Additionally, in Niedertal near Vent, just a few kilometers as the crow flies from the "Ötzi" site, is the so-called "Hohle Stein," a Stone Age shelter used by hunters.
