Many local novels can be attributed to Ludwig Ganghofer, a German writer who spent about 20 years of his life in the idyllic Leutasch. Some stories like "The Silence in the Forest" were created in his hunting lodge "Hubertus". The magnificent natural scenery of the Leutasch Valley provided the inspiration for this. In addition, from the mountain station, a 10-minute walk takes you to the enchantingly beautiful "Ehrwalder Almsee", which guarantees snowmaking in the ski area in winter and provides quick cooling in summer.

In winter, the Ehrwalder Alm is all about skiing and cross-country skiing. Boarders can test their skills in the snow park, and night owls will lose their hearts to the adventurous night sledding.
