Alta Badia is better known as a venue for alpine World Cup races, but the Armentarola cross-country center is an ideal cross-country skiing center for all requirements.

For skiers and snowboarders, Alta Vadia has long been a classic – however, the region also offers a small but fine network of cross-country ski trails. Depending on the chosen route, cross-country skiers and skaters move through dreamy forests, over gentle mountain crests or along frozen streams. The trails run along the impressive mountain ranges of Lavarella, Settsass, and Conturines. Possible starting points include the cross-country ski center Alta Badia- Armentarola/San Cassiano or the ski school Corvara in the Corvara-Colfosco area. In Störes and Conturines, there is a racing trail each, which should only be used for fast driving and advanced training sessions. More leisurely trails are available in Sass Dlacia and Saré.
