A part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, the Sesto and Braies Dolomites, seem within reach here. Therefore, it is hardly surprising that almost all cross-country ski trails in the Alta Pusteria offer a beautiful view of the majestic mountains. The region's extensive network of over 200 km of trails connects the towns of Sesto, San Candido, Dobbiaco, Villabassa, and Braies and has the perfect route ready for every cross-country skier. You can experience the World Cup atmosphere in Dobbiaco, where there are trail sections that have been homologated by the FIS (International Ski Federation) and are used at regular intervals for competitions. A special kind of cross-country skiing experience is also night-time skiing on illuminated trails.
