The Rofan Mountains are located between the Inntal and Lake Achensee and can be reached by the Rofan cable car. There is also a beautiful 9-hole golf course on a high plateau, which is particularly suitable for beginners.

But even in winter, a visit to Achenkirch is worthwhile. In the Christlum ski area, there are optimal conditions for snowboarding and skiing. A total of ten ski lifts ensure varied descents. The Christlum ski area is considered one of the snowiest winter sports regions in Austria. In addition, modern snowmaking systems ensure well-prepared slopes between November and April. Cross-country skiers glide along the lake or through the wintry valleys, with a total of 60 kilometers of trails available, so everyone can choose their favorite route. Old radios and cameras can be found in Pepi's Bildlstuben, while the carpenter's workshop presents tools of the carpentry trade. Doll lovers can find approximately 500 handmade dolls in Oma Anni's Puppenstube, which Anna Pramsoler has produced over 25 years.
