The family-friendly route runs over a distance of 4.5 kilometers from the Pichlberg-Alm over the Reinswalder Wiesn down into the valley. Children are well catered for here, as the gradient is on average 12%, making the descents a relatively easy mountain section to handle. In addition, precautions have been taken against flights of speed frenzy and challenging sections of the route as well as curves have been equipped with a 1 meter high barrier.
A difference in altitude of 580 meters promises a downhill pleasure that is not too short. Those who want to increase their own weight for even more speed in between can eat additional ballast at the Sunnolm. In the farmhouse-style restaurant or at the rustic fire grill, specialties from the Tyrolean cuisine as well as international dishes are served. With a sunny terrace (1,800 meters above sea level), playground, and petting zoo for the little ones as well as a fishing pond, more than just the food is emphasized here.
The Sunnolm is also the point where the race toboggan run originates. On a medium to difficult path, it goes over 700 meters through numerous technically demanding curves down the mountain. Club races are also regularly on the agenda here. After a difference in altitude of 108 meters has been overcome, the racing track finally joins the family toboggan run again, from where it then continues towards the valley.
On two weekends a year, one in January and one in February, the track is open for romantic moonlight tobogganing. During this time, the gondola lift runs from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Here too, there is a parking lot and a toboggan rental directly at the valley station.
