Sledding in Tyrol

Mountains, valleys, and glaciers shape the unique natural scenery of Tyrol, which is perfectly created for active winter sports. But it doesn't always have to be a rapid ski trip – the region's original customs also manage to make their way back into the present in a modern form. In the old days, sleds were an important tool for mountain farmers – in the snowy winter, the ideal means of transport to bring goods into the valley.
Today, the toboggan is a fixed size in the wintry snow fun for young and old. Whether with a traditional wooden sled or with a modern racing toboggan – the driving pleasure through the idyllic landscape with a view of the white mountain peaks is huge in any case.

From child's play to quite tricky, the Tyrolean toboggan runs play all the pieces. And even in the darkness of the night, the fun doesn't end – illuminated slopes ensure that a toboggan ride under the stars becomes an unforgettable experience for the whole family. We have looked around for you and found the best toboggan runs in Tyrol.
