On this mountain tour, you will overcome the ridge between Pflersch and Ridnaun at the Magdeburger Scharte. Please note that markings are only partially present. High alpine experience and glacier-suitable equipment are prerequisites for this tour. About half of the route involves a relatively exposed via ferrata, absolute surefootedness and a head for heights are required. The descent from the Magdeburger Scharte to the Hangender Ferner is only for experts and must be handled with special care.
July - September; No. 6 (difficult)
A tip from Hermann Vantsch, the tenant of the Magdeburger Hut (2,423m) in the Pflersch Valley.
