In the middle of the Dolomites, in the famous Rosengarten, there is a challenging via ferrata. The Santnerpass via ferrata is accordingly secured and promises pure climbing pleasure.
The starting point of the climbing tour is usually the Kölner Hütte at an altitude of 2,339m. Right at the beginning, you have to overcome an 80m high rock rise, then continue towards the north. Afterwards, the real climbing begins. Sure-footedness and experience are required, even though the Santnerpass via ferrata may not look that difficult at first glance.
However, those who overcome it will be rewarded with an impressive nature and mountain experience. A possible extension of the tour is the descent to the Vajolet hut and the subsequent ascent to the Tschagerjoch (2,630m).
