In tandem through the skies

You sit in a harness under the canopy, which you can steer using control lines. Usually, thorough training is required before you can dare to paraglide, but a tandem flight also offers newcomers and the curious without prior knowledge the opportunity to experience this fantastic feeling of flying.

Here you will find a wealth of take-off sites that, with the right weather conditions and thermals, guarantee a wonderful and long flying experience. A tandem flight is always and exclusively made with a professionally trained and experienced pilot. This ensures maximum safety and a gentle landing. In the South Tyrolean and Tyrolean holiday regions, there are numerous certified flight schools that offer tandem flights for interested parties.

The process is quite simple, as the passenger only needs to follow the pilot's instructions. With a few steps, you are already in the air, and then there is nothing but pure relaxation. Magnificent views and the incredible feeling of gliding like an eagle over the mountains make the flight an unforgettable experience. When paragliding, you can truly enjoy the dreamlike world of the Alps in peace and undisturbed.

The landing is coordinated with the pilot and is also gentle and safe. Some providers even use specially developed airbags. A tandem flight usually lasts 25 to 30 minutes, but longer flights of about 50 minutes are possible if suitable thermal conditions are present. The necessary equipment - helmet, overalls, and possibly even shoes and gloves - is usually provided. By the way, age is (almost) not an issue: Tandem flights are easily possible for children and seniors with appropriate fitness.
