One is completely removed from everyday life on the Aschinger Alm. Around the inn, which resembles an alpine hut, there is a paradise for hikers and mountain bikers at 1000m.
The summer and winter toboggan run passes very close to the farm and is fun for both young and old. The toboggan run of the Aschingeralm was awarded the Tyrol Natural Toboggan Run Seal of Quality in 2012, which is valid for 5 years (2013-2017)!
In good weather, the alpine pasture's sun terrace invites you to linger, and on cool days, the cozy parlors and the bar with an open fireplace beckon. Delicacies from the kitchen and the friendly service will let you experience a wonderful day.
Hikers will find their dream path, whether on comfortable circular routes or to a summit ascent to the 2000m high Pyramidenspitze, there is something for everyone to explore the beautiful surroundings.
At the foot of the Zahmer Kaiser, our cows graze on the alpine meadows the best herbs and grasses. The healthy and delicious dairy products are made from the milk of these alpine cows in our own alpine cheese dairy, various types of cheese, butter, curd, yogurt, and much more.
According to handed-down recipes and in time-honored tradition, our alpine cheese, which is a real rarity made from silo-free hay milk, is produced there. Gerhard Ritzer has already been awarded several times at international competitions for it.
