Feilalm - 1,372 m

High above the Karwendel valleys - with a fantastic view of Lake Achensee - the Feilalm is located at an altitude of 1,372 m in the Karwendel.

In this majestic location high above Pertisau, with the deep blue Achensee behind, it is cozy to 'Hoangaschtn'. It is no coincidence that guests like Hansi Hinterseer and Semino Rossi have visited here on behalf of various television stations.

The Feilalm is a popular destination for hikers and mountain bikers in summer, as well as for winter hikers, snowshoe hikers, and tobogganists in winter. The continuation of the hike to the Feilkopf (1,562 m), which can be reached in about 45 minutes from the Alm, is highly recommended. There you will be greeted by a unique panorama with a magnificent 360° all-round view. Afterwards, you will be spoiled with homemade Tyrolean specialties in the cozy Tyrolean parlor or on the panoramic terrace.

An easy hike leads up to the Alm on beautiful forest paths and forest roads: From the Karwendeltäler parking lot, follow the asphalt road into the Pletzach valley for a short distance. After about 15 minutes, a signposted forest path branches off to the left at an information board. This path leads upwards with a consistent incline. Soon you will reach a forest road again and follow it upwards to the Feilalm.

Or continue by car into the Pletzach valley to the parking lot at the turnoff to the Feilalm and from there along the forest road on foot to the Alm.

Tip: If you are in good condition, hike further from the Feilalm to the exceptionally scenic Feilkopf (1,562 m).
