In summer, the hut can be reached via 3 different ascent routes:
Once in switchbacks through a beautiful romantic mixed forest up from the free parking lot at Buchen (opposite the Interalpenhotel) the 2nd path leads up the abandoned ski slope. This path offers a magnificent view of the Leutasch valley and starts directly from our Rauthhütte parking lot (Moos7 – please note parking fees apply) the 3rd variant also starts from the Rauthhüttenparkplatz and leads up our driveway – the last section of this path is steep.
While the parents indulge themselves with Tyrolean home cooking on our terrace, the little ones can run wild on our playground.
In winter, we offer ski touring and sledding fun. To also enable ski touring beginners to have a nice trip to us, there is a prepared ascent track along the abandoned ski slope and a separate toboggan run in winter.
