Messner Mountain Museum Ortles

Through statements, historical memorabilia, and visual arts, Reinhold Messner tells stories about glaciers, ice, the South Pole, the North Pole, snowmen, and above all about the great ice mountains, with the Ortler symbolically at the center of the exhibition. The location – the farm with the yaks, the Ortler as the highest peak of South Tyrol directly above, the glacial ice within reach – is ideal.
