A little bit of fitness is required if you have set yourself the mountain bike tour to the Fern Pass. It starts in Ehrwald at the tennis courts. Ehrwald itself can be easily reached by private car or public transport.
The way to the Fern Pass leads slightly ascending and descending over the Weißensee to the pass road. Then you cycle on the Via Claudia to the Fernsteinsee at the Fern Pass.
On the way back to Ehrwald, there are further small refreshment points with the Blindsee and the Mittersee. After a detour to the Loisach springs, the path continues to Biberwier; from there, there are several options to get back to the starting point of the tour.
