When it comes to mountain biking, the term "paradise" is more than appropriate for South Tyrol. Here you will find optimal conditions, whether you are looking for leisurely family routes or challenging, demanding professional trails. In South Tyrol's mountains, every bike athlete will find suitable routes - from idyllic forest paths to breathtaking steep descents over rock and scree.

In South Tyrol, there are no bike bans, so you can truly enjoy unlimited riding pleasure. All paths and routes are open to you. In addition, there is the uniquely beautiful landscape, in which biking is simply a pleasure. The mild, sunny climate is also a hit, because in sunshine - with this opinion we are certainly not alone - every sport is twice as much fun.

A paradise for mountain bikers

The "surroundings" in South Tyrol are also perfectly organized: A dense network of cycle paths 600 km long runs through the entire country. It is possible to rent mountain bikes and equipment practically everywhere, so that bike tours can be planned and started spontaneously and independently. Transport by train is also not a problem, and the bikemobil Card offers a great and affordable option for the combined use of public transport and rental bicycles.

Our tip:

GPS routes can be conveniently planned on the internet with all relevant route information. GPS tour tracks are available for many mountain bike routes and can be easily synchronized with the GPS navigation device. They also provide tips on sights and other highlights along the route. There are also various apps available for your smartphone.
