Cornaiano / Girlan

The picturesque town of Cornaiano / Girlan is located about nine kilometers southeast of Bolzano and belongs to the municipality of Eppan. Located on a sunny plateau, visitors will find a pleasant climate here.

In Cornaiano / Girlan, everything revolves around wine. Two wine cooperatives and several private wineries produce the grapes and are also open for visits. Due to the extensive cellar facilities, the town is supposedly larger underground than on the surface. In the nearby St. Michael, there is the "Golfacademy Schloss Freudenstein", a private golf practice facility. The Mandelhof Hotel in Cornaiano / Girlan has a putting green. There is an 18-hole golf course in Petersberg. Other golf courses are located in Karersee, Lana, and Sarnònico.
