Vacation in

Colfosco

The holiday resort of Colfosco / Kolfuschg belongs to Corvara and is better known as Colfosco. The location of the municipality is a real stroke of luck: located at the National Park Puez-Geisler and at the foot of the Sella mountain range, Colfosco / Kolfuschg offers its tourists everything they need for a relaxing holiday. At 1645 meters, the holiday resort is the highest in Alta Badia. The Dolomite panorama is breathtakingly beautiful - a room with a balcony is definitely worth it.

Enjoy nature

The beautiful landscape invites to outdoor activities: sports enthusiasts can let off steam here with a climbing or mountain bike tour. A circumnavigation of the Sella stock is very popular. But long hikes in the mountains are also recommended. Those who prefer a more leisurely pace can choose a shorter day trip and stop at one of the rustic mountain huts, where they will be pampered with traditional South Tyrolean delicacies. In total, there are eight different high-altitude trails to explore.

The Puez Geisler Park is also worth a visit, where the visitor center offers interesting exhibitions such as "Touching Mountains" for tourists. In winter, Colfosco / Kolfuschg and the surrounding area offer various opportunities for skiing. Snowboarders or toboggan fans will also get their money's worth here.

The cute petting zoo

The region is particularly suitable for a family holiday. Accommodation can be found on one of the adventure farms - here, the little ones learn interesting facts about animals and nature. In Colfosco / Kolfuschg itself, there is a petting zoo that all children love. Here, both young and old can make friends with goats, sheep, and rabbits, all of which can be touched. Once a week, the tourist association organizes a bread day with products from a local baker in the zoo. Anyone who wants to take a closer look at the place should definitely visit the Gothic church, which is adorned with a pretty onion dome.

High up, surrounded by a breathtaking mountain panorama, different rules apply than down in the valley. The weather turns faster, a planned tour sometimes requires more effort than expected, and a small misstep can sometimes necessitate an early return.
