The Museum Association of the village Aldein maintains and manages the Bletterbach Visitor Center, which can be found in the GEOPARC Bletterbach, the mill ensemble in the valley, or the Village Museum Aldein, which is located directly on the village square and was designed to give visitors insight into life around Aldein over the centuries
„Schatz vom Thalhof“
In the 1980s, the "Treasure of Thalhof" was discovered, various sacred objects from the Maria Schnee chapel in the valley, which date from the Baroque or Rococo period. The chapel was built by the Baroni von Ehrenfeld family in the 18th century and was very richly furnished until the treasures were brought to the attic of the Thalhof and were forgotten. Since 2000, the exhibition in the village museum has been supplemented by medals, coins, and valuable paintings that show how pious and devout the population was at that time. In addition, belt works from Bolzano, a baroque chalice, and portraits of personalities from Aldein can also be admired.
Old Aldein Path
The Village Museum Aldein is located directly on the village square of the village, but Aldein can also be visited as part of a hike of about three hours. This starts in Branzoll, from where the "Old Aldein Path" leads to the village.
