Golf Courses in South Tyrol

The former golf course Kastelruth today enchants its visitors under the name Golf Club St. Vigil Seis. It is assisted by the lively natural scenery that surrounds the South Tyrolean Dolomites. The golf club has finally found its place right at the foot of the Sciliar on the Seiser Alm near Val Gardena.

Anyone traveling to South Tyrol from the north via the classic Brenner route does not have to drive much longer until the first opportunity for golfing arises.

Schloss Freudenstein – the name alone brings a smile to one‘s face and suggests that this is a place where life is celebrated. The historic building was constructed in the High Middle Ages and over the years has been enriched with elements of other styles, such as Gothic.

The Pustertal Golf Club was formed in 1993 and was the passion project of some enthusiastic golf friends. From the initial 4-hole course, they soon moved to a 6-hole course, until finally in 2004 they began construction of the current course with 9 holes.
