Petersberg Golf Club

Petersberg is a small, tranquil village near Deutschnofen on a wooded plateau of the Regglberg. Only about 600 inhabitants have settled here and therefore it is not surprising that the local landscape exhibits a pristine nature that is no longer taken for granted nowadays.

The magic of the original blows through the forests and over the meadows. The 18-hole course of the Golf Club Petersberg near the village was also integrated into the landscape with respectful treatment of it. At more than 1,200 meters above sea level, nature-loving athletes can enjoy magnificent views of the South Tyrolean Dolomites and specifically of the Brenta mountain group to the west of the Adige Valley. The drive from the nearby Bolzano to Petersberg takes about 30 minutes.

When the course opened in 1989 - back then as a 9-hole course - golf in South Tyrol was more or less still in its infancy. Nowadays, golfing is inseparably linked to the region, but the Golf Club Petersberg course still embodies the spirit of the pioneers and has ideally adapted to modern times. The arrangement of the trees makes the game on the course a tricky challenge and demands that the experienced golfer put all his strategic knowledge and skills to the test. 18 holes with par 71 are also accompanied by small water hazards that not only set optical accents, but also raise the level of play. The practice area consists of a driving range with 17 tees, 2 putting greens, a chipping green, and a sand bunker.

State-of-the-art support in training and coaching

It is evident that every skill level is welcome here, among other things, due to the wide range of courses offered by the own golf school. Basic training and beginner courses are offered as well as individual lessons with Golf-Pro Anthony Jackson, individual corrections with video analysis, or training in the long game as well as the short game. The professionals can also use technical equipment to help you achieve your desired success even faster. For example, the Explanar training device helps you find the right, powerful swing for your tee shot. The aforementioned video analyses are also a good helper on the way to becoming a champion.

The starting point into the golf experience Petersberg

The pulsating organizational heart of the facility is the clubhouse, where you will find the secretariat on the one hand, and on the other hand, a pro shop has been set up, which ensures that you have everything you need with clubs, balls, bags, caps, and a few more equipment items. Of course, there are also a sufficient number of changing rooms with showers. A café-restaurant is also indispensable. In the rustic wood ambiance of the dining room and on the Mediterranean-style sun terrace, the good spirits of the kitchen serve heartwarming dishes with a regional focus that are based on the current season and therefore set new priorities again and again - such as the game weeks in the fall. The operation at the Golf Club Petersberg course runs from April to November. So you have a really long time for training and playing. Exciting tournaments are also held on weekends, in which you can participate. If you don't want to, that's okay too - the size of the course allows for parallel play, even during tournament time.

You can find the tournament calendar on the official website. You can also find all information about membership and prices as well as a detailed listing of the individual holes in advance. www.golfclubpetersberg.it/en/
