In Seefeld itself, the traditional Advent market in the pedestrian zone invites you to stroll contemplatively. In the Christmas-decorated cabins in Tyrolean log house style, regional crafts, handicrafts and local delicacies and specialties are offered. 'Genuine and authentic' is the motto for all participants, and of course there is also a lot of atmospheric music from the Seefelder Weisenbläser. Children can make Christmas decorations or gifts and send a letter to the Christ Child at the 'Engerlpostamt'.
Evening chapel walks with torches, lanterns and music take place in Leutasch on the Advent weekends. Each walk is accompanied by a singing or music group, and you can also learn interesting facts about the total of 20 chapels in the Leutasch Valley. Afterwards, there is a stopover and there are regional delicacies to get to know. A very special attraction in Leutasch is also the life-size traditional nativity scene.
The smaller towns of the Olympic region Seefeld, Mösern, Scharnitz and Reith, are characterized by very individual offers during the Advent season. Village community and traditional customs are at the heart of the programs. In Mösern, for example, contemplative walks lead over the seven stations of the Peace Trail to the Peace Bell, the largest free-standing bell in the Alps.
Around the 'Romantic Advent', there are of course numerous offers and specials for a holiday in Seefeld. Experience an Advent in the Olympic region like you hardly find anywhere else!
