The Passer Gorge Trail - Nature on Vacation
The valley is shaped by water: Along the forest and the rocks, one walks directly along the riverbank on the gorge trail, where the Passer river runs through boulders and dreamlike pools.

This natural beauty was made accessible through an ambitious project that showcases the tremendous power of the Passer river. Over the years, the river has carved into the rock, creating impressive whirlpools, potholes, and rock formations. As part of the environmental compensation measures during the construction of the Enerpass power plant, the idea arose in 2008 to create a path from St. Leonhard to Moos.
The Passer Gorge Trail is one of the water trails around the village of Moos that show how the valley was shaped by ice and water. Along the way, there are various information panels and seating areas that focus on the beauty of nature. In total, the trail covers 6.5 kilometers, for which you should plan about three hours.
