How to reach Waldneralm:
- via the forest road from Prettau (walking time: approx. 2 hours)
- from Kasern: just before Kasern turn left over the meadow path, then through the somewhat steep forest trail (approx. 25min.) to the forest road, then comfortably on to the alm (total walking time: approx 1.5 hours)
- from Kasern via the biotope and Waldnersee to Waldneralm (large parking lot left up to Alpenhof Kasern; from there follow the signs to the right); walking time 2.5 – 3 hours.
- from Prettau – Weihergasse: at Pension Weiherhof (0.5km before village center) turn left following the signs through the somewhat steep forest path to the Grubach alms, then via the forest road to Waldneralm; walking time: just under 2 hours.
