Endurance, sure-footedness, and sufficient experience are required to tackle this impressive tour. The paths are consistently classified as black and therefore not suitable for children under 14 years of age. The route starts at the Ansbacher Hut and leads on a slightly ascending trail to the Flarschjoch. Particularly noteworthy here is the view of the Feuerspitze, which stands out from the surrounding mountains with its reddish-brown character.
The route continues over the Alperschonjoch past the Vorderseespitze up to the Hinterseejoch. Then it gets a bit more strenuous, as the climb to the Kridlonscharte awaits. At the end of the hike, a well-deserved rest at the Kaiserjochhaus is the reward.
