Mountain Experiences in Tyrol: Impressive High-Altitude Hikes in Paznaun
Until September, active vacationers can climb the three three-thousanders Broad Crown, Bishop's Peak, and Grenzeckkopf as part of a guided summit hike. The tour starts at the village square in Galtür and lasts about six hours. The cost is 15 euros per person for adults, children up to 16 years pay 7 euros. Stage hiking on the Paznauner High Trail
The Paznauner High Trail stretches over 120 kilometers or nine stages, with hikers needing to plan between 3.5 and 9.5 hours for the individual routes. The high trail leads nature lovers through romantic larch forests and over lush meadows, but there are also rocky and steep passages in high alpine terrain to master. Many stage starting points can also be easily reached with the free summer bus or by taxi. With these, hikers can also return to the starting point after completing the hike. Hiking to the ibexes
An unforgettable experience is a hike to the ibexes. The tour takes participants from Bielerhöhe to Vallülasee and with a bit of luck, hikers may encounter the kings of the Alps. Furthermore, after a strenuous ascent, they can also enjoy the breathtaking panorama. The guided tour takes place every Wednesday and costs seven euros for children up to 16 years or 15 euros for adults.
