La Val - Fanes

From La Val, the tour first leads to Ritsee and up to Ritjoch at 1863 m. From the Pederü hut, it goes steeply up to the Fanes hut on the Dolomites High Altitude Trail to Limojoch (2172 m), the highest point of the tour. On a very challenging trail, it goes downhill to the Capanna Alpina, and on a paved road down the valley to St. Kassian and Stern. A single trail leads to Arciara, from where a tarred road leads back to La Val.
