Get the perfect holiday tan, but also always have the opportunity to take a refreshing break from the heat. It has long been known that swimming is a special treat for the body - joint-friendly movements that still allow for good muscle building and generally keep you fit and active. The specially designated sports pools of the outdoor pools in the region also provide the suitable environment to work on a new distance record away from any crowds.

But the majority of visitors will probably belong more to the group of splash-happy people. And they are also excellently served. Demonstrating courage on the diving tower, or diving into the speed rush in a water slide race.
Adventure pools like the Area 47 in the Tyrolean Ötztal also attract with spectacular sensations: blobbing, tubing, rafting, canyoning, a wakeboard facility or a waterslide park.

A water adventure world with a panoramic view of the Zillertal Alps can be found in the adventure outdoor pool in Zell am Ziller. In addition to the large sports pool and the whitewater channel, two huge water slides also make the hearts of water rats beat faster - one coiled, the other straight for particularly rapid high-speed sliding fun. In addition, you can use all the attractions of the attached amusement park, including volleyball, football, tennis, basketball and mini golf.

The greatest joy for the little ones

Children are also increasingly offered more in the adventure pools - with an increasing number of attractions such as trampolines, water games, bridges and rafts. In addition, specially designed baby pools ensure the safety of the littlest ones.

The well-being of the guests is always taken care of - the well-trained lifeguards attentively patrol and are quickly on hand in case of any incidents.

With four 25-meter swimming lanes, the forest outdoor pool Niederndorf near Kufstein joins the list of sports outdoor pools, but plays to its different strengths by also taking into account the adventure wishes of the children. In addition to the children's pool with current, the water cannon, the water slide, the play brook and a water hedgehog, the pyramid tower system with suspension bridge and cable car ensures pumping adrenaline. A play ship and a bird's nest swing are the icing on the cake for pleasure.

Swimming near the city

To let your soul dangle in the outdoor pool in Tyrol, you don't need a long drive to remote places in the green nature. Such spots can also be found near the city. For example in Innsbruck. Opposite the Olympic Hall there is a huge park - and in the middle of it: five water pools. They all belong to the Tivoli swimming pool, which has been an integral part of the leisure plans of the people of Innsbruck and their visitors for many years. In addition to the 70-meter water slide and a diving tower, the pool has its own area for children. A water play garden with a small slide, water cannons, but also the play meadow make children's dreams come true here.
In addition, an animation program is offered, as well as all important outdoor sports such as beach volleyball, football, table tennis and bocce.
Lovers of nude sunbathing also get their money's worth here - either in the women's area, the men's area or mixed. And as is typical for Innsbruck, you always have a view of the ring of mighty mountains that characteristically encircle the city.

Swimming as if in another dimension

The architecture of the Aqua Dome thermal spa in Längenfeld looks futuristic. Pools that look like giant bowls and a glowing glass cone - you don't see something like this every day. The natural thermal water from the Ötztal mountain world offers an additional incentive to spend your bathing holiday here. One of the two swimming water basins plays underwater music and also impresses with fascinating light effects. The second basin spoils with warm sulfur water. Children are made happy with a giant water slide and a play ship.
It becomes romantic every Friday when moonlight bathing is announced under the Ötztal starry sky.

The variety of outdoor pools in Tyrol is huge - and every water-loving visitor is guaranteed to find their personal favorite spot for swimming. That's as clear as the water of the outdoor pools in Tyrol.
