The expedition starts at the foot of the Steinplatte, from where you will be transported by a cable car with gondolas designed in the shape of underwater capsules directly into the realm of the giant lizards.

At the Triassic Center, visitors are brought closer to the history of the earth in an exciting way. On two levels, you will learn everything about the geological ages Perm and Triassic, evolution, and the origin of life - the primeval ocean. Colorful corals are presented up close, in the lagoon you will encounter impressive dinosaurs, and in the shark cage you are safe from attacks. During a virtual dive, you will experience the depth of the ocean even more intensively. Afterwards, children can immerse themselves in the fascinating world of fossils, look through microscopes, and at the same time learn how to determine their age.

Next, the inquisitive hobby researchers can expect the Triassic Trail - a 4-kilometer long educational trail where climbing, digging for dino skeletons, and accumulating knowledge can be done while playing. The little ones can dig for fossils, examine the dry reef, climb the climbing wall, and let off steam on the playground. Life-size dinosaurs also make occasional appearances, providing exciting encounters with the very early past. The trail can be completed in 1.5 hours and is suitable for strollers due to its solid surface.

In the subsequent Robinia Park, a low rope course, surefootedness and agility can be tested and trained. Children can complete a balance course on tree trunks and ropes here, overcoming obstacles with great fun.

The Mini-Sea at Triassic Beach then provides a cooling off, where splashing, rafting, climbing on water dinosaurs, or digging for fossils on the shore can be done.

A short walk away, another surprise awaits - a viewing platform in the shape of a fan coral, which hovers nearly 70 meters above a precipice and offers spectacular views of everything 1,600 meters below.

Expeditions can of course also make you quite hungry, and before the rumbling of the stomach becomes louder than that of the dinosaurs, it is recommended to visit one of the rustic Alpine huts near the Triassic Park. A hearty snack and Tyrolean home cooking recharge the batteries for further dinosaur adventures.

Details about the program, opening hours, directions, and weather information can be found on the official website of the Triassic Park. Admission to the Triassic Park is free. However, there is a charge for the mountain railway.
