An absolute pleasure tour with fantastic views is, for example, the Brenner cycle route, where you pass through small towns and picturesque hilly landscapes. It starts at the Brenner Pass, then goes to Sterzing and through scenic villages to Franzensfeste. Then you pass the Lake Vahrn and reach the Neustift Monastery or Brixen. On the way from Brixen to Bolzano, you can also visit the small artist town of Klausen.

The Pustertal cycle path is very suitable for family tours and beginners, starting in Mühlbach and then continuing to Niedervintl, Obervintl, Kiens, Ehrenburg, St. Lorenzen, and Bruneck. If you want, you can then take on the second section from Bruneck to Innichen, which is 33.5 km long. The third section then takes the bikers from Innichen to Winnebach, then follows the Drau River to Lienz. The route is a total of 44 km long but is downhill and therefore very easy.

By bike to the Alpe di Siusi

A dreamlike panorama awaits cyclists on a tour to the Seiser Alm. The St. Ulrich - Seiser Alm cable car takes the bikers almost 800 meters in altitude, making the route also suitable for beginners or less trained cyclists. Along the way, there are various opportunities to stop, such as at the Rauchhütte, where you can indulge in South Tyrolean specialties.

Along the Via Claudia Augusta

Along the famous Roman road Via Claudia Augusta runs the Etsch cycle path, which is a total of 80 km long. The majority of the route is relatively flat, allowing for a relaxed ride. This route is very popular, especially for moderate cyclists, and there is also the possibility to rent bikes at different train stations and return them at another. If you want, you can also shorten the tour and use the Vinschgerbahn.
