The nature and recreation area Merano 2000 offers active vacationers a sporty mix of mountain biking and hiking - so there is plenty of variety on the trail.
It starts with the bike in Hafling. Passing the village church and small settlements, you ride towards Maiser Alm. Farms and meadows line the way in the further course. The Maiser Alm is, so to speak, a stage destination that marks the change from the bike to your own two feet.
The bikes can be parked directly at the farm buildings of the Alm. In a brisk hike, you now march up to the Merano Hut, which is located at an altitude of 1,960m.
