Over the Pfunderer Joch
Very challenging, partly high alpine tour for absolute specialists.

Starting in Sterzing, the route leads on a paved road first into the Pfitscher high valley; a forest road reaches the Pfunderer Joch, the descent to Pfunders and Vintl first runs on trails, then on forest roads. The return trip from Franzensfeste to Sterzing can also be done by train.
