To the Göflaner Marmorbruch
Worthwhile tour from Laas to the highest marble quarry in Italy, where the famous Laaser marble is extracted.
Starting from Laas, a steep climb leads to the hamlet of Tarnell. At 1627 m, one reaches the Marble Trail, which leads to the marble quarry at an altitude of 2186 m. The return path passes the Göflaner Alm and the Kohlplätzhütte; a trail with a pushing section crosses a steep mountain flank. From Göflan, the end point of the tour in Laas can be reached via the cycle path "Via Claudia Augusta".
