The bike tour to Monte Roen at 2,116m is not for the faint-hearted. It requires stamina, fitness, and a lot of muscle power. Right after the start in Kaltern, it goes 1,800 meters uphill to Graun.
Here, in the beautiful Adige Valley, there is the first opportunity for a short breathing break. Afterwards, the route leads to the Grauner Joch. From there, Monte Roen is already in sight. Those who are not intimidated by the steep rock faces now embark on a tour where the bike must be pushed or even carried in between. Once at the top, the view is far-reaching while enjoying one's own success.
